About

ALICE is a network at Aarhus University that seeks to support and advocate for women in Computing, IT and Engineering.
In addition to functioning as a supportive space for women in computing-related fields at Aarhus University, we host events for students and employees at Aarhus University. You can read about some of our recent events here.

Follow us on Facebook to stay updated and be the first to know about events and recommendations.

Goals

Our goal is to create a community for women in computing at Aarhus University to meet each other and share their experiences. Our primary mission is to provide an environment to encourage women’s educational and professional development, raise awareness about issues women face in the field, and organize activities to inspire them to continue pursuing careers in computing.

ALICE was formed in the spring of 2019 by students and employees in the Department of Computer Science, but is meant to be a network for all women in IT, computing, and engineering fields at Aarhus University. We welcome women (cis and trans) and genderqueer from all departments related to these fields at our organizing meetings. Anyone interested in joining or just sitting in for a meeting is welcome to show up at our next meeting. You can find the time and location for our upcoming meetings in the calendar.

Anyone is welcome to contact us with questions, suggestions, and comments (see contacts and links)
