Exam
Coloured Petri Nets 1
There will be an individual oral examination at the end of Coloured Petri Nets I. The exam will last for 20 minutes per candidate with no preparation time. Evaluation is according to the 7-scale. The general form of the examination will be as follows.
- 8-10 minutes pen-and-white-board (i.e., no slides) presentation by the candidate on one of the exam questions (see below).
- A discussion (including questions and answers) related to the topics covered in the course.
- An evaluation of the performance resulting in a grade on the 7-scale.

- Project 1, project 2, and project 3.
- B. A. Forouzan: Data Communications and Networking Third Edition, McGraw-Hill, 2003. Chap 11.1 - Chap 11.4.

Coloured Petri Nets 2:
There will be an individual oral examination at the end of the fourth quarter for those that followed the course in quarter 4. The project and associated report will serve as a basis for exam. The exam will last 20 minutes per candidate including evaluation and consists of three parts:
- A 12-15 minute presentation by the candidate of the project conducted in the fourth quarter. It is allowed to use INDIVIDUAL slides for this part of the presentation.
- A discussion (including questions and answers) related to the presentation above, the project report, and the topics covered in the course.
- An evaluation of the performance resulting in a grade on the 7-scale. The project report has a weight of 50 % and the oral exam has a weight of 50 % in the final grade. A satisfactory performance is required in both parts (report and presentation) in order to pass.
The examination requirements (pensum) is the same as for Coloured Petri Nets 1 extended with the project report from Coloured Petri Nets 2 (and the references contained in that report).
