I was on a road trip ("2001 omveje") with my brother in the US in June 2001. Here's our 11500 km route.
I lived in Los Angeles between September 2000 and May 2001.
I went travelling in Thailand, Vietnam and Nepal in 1999.
As a Ph.D. student in robotics, I visited John Hallam's Mobile Robots group at the University of Edinburgh in 1999. As a thank you to the students, I wrote this paper.
